Introducing the 2012 Iron Dragons!

After 9 weeks of intense tryouts, we are glad to present the 2012 Iron Dragons! (Check out the roster page!)

Thank you to everyone who came to tryouts. We hope you all had a good time and improved your general fitness! Don't be discouraged if you were not selected for the team this season, we had a spectacular (and highly competitive) group of tryoutees this year. Train hard and hope to see you next year!

This season is bound to be an exciting one for the U of T Engineers considering the impressive amount of talent, dedication, and enthusiasm in this year's team. With a little over 3 months until our first race, we will work hard towards becoming more fit and more competitive not only as individuals but more importantly as a team. Stay tuned for more updates as the season gets rolling!

'Give it a Try' Trial Boat Session

For those who signed up for the session, thanks! We will be going to Sunnyside beach and paddling from 6:30-7:30pm.

Here are the instructions for getting there on Thursday, two options:

1) Come with the managers, we'll take you there!
We will meet inside the GB lobby at 5pm. Many of you will have class right up until 5, but we will be leaving at 5:10 sharp. (so get out of class a little early if need be!) We will then head over to Queen's park station.

2) If you feel comfortable getting there on your own, here's how:
Get on the subway and go to Keele Station. Then take the 5:40pm 80 Queensway bus and get off at 'LAKE SHORE at COLBORNE LODGE WEST SIDE' (After the bus turns onto lakeshore blvd). This bus only comes every half an hour, so try not to miss this one.

Equipment will be provided but you will likely get wet on the boat so please bring a change of clothing. Flip flops and board shorts are recommended. If you are interested in participating but did not sign up, you can still come out as we still have space on the boat. However, we will be taking people on a first come, first serve bases.

See you on Thursday!!!
