Iron Dragons Blue finished the 2012 season in Montreal with some spectacular results!

From July 20th to July 22nd, over 50 dragonboat teams mainly from Ontario and Quebec, as well as some international teams, competed at the 17th Montreal International Dragon Boat Race Festival at the Olympic Basin - Parc Jean-Drapeau. Iron Dragons competed in 6 qualification heats and 4 finals over the course of three days.

This past weekend, Iron Dragons Blue & Gold teams had a great time at the Toronto Centre Island racing in the 24th annual TIDBRF. Competing in 500m races alongside nearly 200 teams and over 5000 atheletes, ID Blue & Gold achieved some amazing results!

On Saturday afternoon, the Gold team kicked off the weekend with their first race of the season, warming up with a time of 2:33.62 in their first heat, and finishing with a time of 2:30.58 in their 2nd heat. These times seeded the ID Gold team into Universities Final D as well as Mixed Premier Final M.
