A TEAM FIT FOR EVERYONE

Passion for the sport and commitment to the team; these are the only things we ask of you when joining the Iron Dragons family. Iron Dragons has gone through the effort of expanding our boundaries throughout the years and is now a club capable of encompassing paddlers of all different fitness levels and athletic backgrounds. Whether you have years of dragon boat experience or have never once touched a paddle in your life, our club has a place for you in our diverse selection of crews. You will be able to train with like-minded athletes who strive towards the same goals as you throughout the season, while also getting the chance to meet and socialize with all those who stand proudly underneath the Iron Dragons banner.

BLUE

Iron Dragons Blue is the team's A crew! They train non-stop throughout the year because they know that every millisecond matters in the race. These athletes come from across all engineering disciplines and faculties at U of T, balancing school with training several times a week. They have been a top University and U24 crew in Canada for the last few years, and raced their way to five gold medals at CCWC 2018 in Hungary!

GOLD

Blazing right behind on the water is Iron Dragons Gold, the team's B crew. Just like Blue, Gold is full of committed athletes from across U of T, bringing their determination to the races while also having fun. Over the last few years, they managed to beat other competitive A crews repeatedly, showing that Gold is more than just a secondary crew. Training and racing alongside Blue, Gold aims to be competitive with the top University dragon boat teams in Canada.
